Private Debt Mobilization ensures the capital generation for the Group via distribution of assets. This is achieved through an Originate to Share model encompassing the various private-side distribution and structuring teams for Santander’s corporate and institutional businesses (including loan syndicate, structured sales, repackaging, credit insurance, etc.), managing private debt distribution risk and offering bespoke distribution alternatives.
In addition, PDM manages the rotation of Santander CIB’s portfolio to increase its profitability and reduce its capital usage.
