Santander CIB leads landmark €150 million securitisation facility for Twinco Capital

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) has acted as Sole Arranger and Senior Lender on a landmark €150 million securitisation facility for Twinco Capital, supporting the fintech’s expansion of purchase order finance and increasing access to liquidity for SMEs across global supply chains.

The transaction represents an important milestone for the trade finance industry, bringing institutional capital into purchase order finance at scale through an innovative securitisation structure. The facility is designed to support suppliers earlier in the production cycle, helping businesses access working capital before goods are delivered and invoices are issued.

The facility forms part of Twinco’s broader €165 million funding round and is expected to significantly expand its capacity to support suppliers globally, while contributing to the development of purchase order finance as a scalable institutional asset class.

Santander CIB’s role in this landmark financing underscores its expertise in delivering innovative trade and working capital solutions and its leadership in structuring scalable financing platforms that connect institutional capital with the evolving needs of global commerce.

"This transaction marks an important step forward in the evolution of trade finance, demonstrating how innovative funding structures can attract institutional capital to support the real economy. We are proud to have partnered with Twinco Capital on this landmark securitisation, which expands access to working capital for SMEs and contributes to building more resilient and efficient global supply chains."
